REFUND & RETURN POLICY

At Capini Firenze, we pride ourselves on the durability and elegance of our leather goods. We offer a comprehensive warranty and a straightforward return process to ensure your satisfaction.

1. 2-YEAR WARRANTY

We stand behind the quality of our craftsmanship. All Capini Firenze products come with a 2-year manufacturer warranty starting from the date of delivery.

This warranty is in addition to, and does not limit, any statutory rights you may have under applicable consumer law in your country (including the EU/UK 2-year legal guarantee).

Covered:

  • Manufacturing defects.

  • Structural failure of the leather or stitching under normal use.

Not covered:

  • Normal wear and tear and natural aging of the leather (patina, marks, softening).

  • Color changes due to exposure to sunlight, sweat, or liquids.

  • Accidental damage (drops, impacts, scratches, crushing).

  • Damage caused by misuse, improper care, or modification of the product.

⚠️ IMPORTANT: EXTREME DURABILITY TESTS On our website and social media, you may see demonstrations of our cases undergoing extreme stress tests (impact, abrasion, etc.) to showcase their durability. Please do not attempt to replicate these tests.

Our products are built to protect, but they are not indestructible. Damages resulting from intentional abuse, extreme testing by the customer, or modifications are not covered by the warranty.

If you believe your product is defective and covered under warranty, please contact us with photos and a description of the issue so we can review your case.

2. RETURN WINDOW (30 DAYS)

We accept returns for both defective and non-defective products.

  • Standard Policy: You have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

  • European Union & UK – Right of Withdrawal: If you are in the EU or UK, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days of receipt, for any reason, without justification. This legal right applies regardless of our 30-day commercial return period.

3. ELIGIBILITY FOR RETURNS (NON-WARRANTY)

To be eligible for a return due to change of mind or non-warranty reasons, your item must be:

  • In the same condition that you received it.

  • Unworn, unused, and with all original tags and protective films.

  • In its original packaging.

Items that are returned used, damaged, or missing parts not due to our error may be partially refunded or refused.

4. HOW TO INITIATE A RETURN

Please do not send your purchase back without contacting us first.

  • Step 1 – Contact Us: Email service@capinifirenze.com. Include your Order Number, photos (if defective), and a brief explanation of the reason for return.

  • Step 2 – Approval: We will review your request and confirm whether your return is treated as a warranty replacement (defective item) or a standard return (change of mind).

  • Step 3 – Ship the Item: Once approved, we will send you the return instructions. Unless otherwise stated, you will need to ship the product to our returns center:

5. RETURN SHIPPING COSTS

  • For standard returns (change of mind or non-defective items): Customers are responsible for the cost of return shipping. Shipping costs are non-refundable.

  • For approved warranty claims (defective items): We will either provide a prepaid return label, reimburse reasonable return shipping costs, or in some cases, offer a replacement without requiring the product to be sent back.

We will inform you of the applicable option when we approve your warranty claim.

6. REFUNDS

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you by email of the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • If approved: Your refund will be processed to your original method of payment.

  • Timing: Please allow up to 10 business days for the refund to appear, depending on your bank or payment provider.

Where required by local law (for example, in the EU/UK for valid withdrawals within 14 days), we will also refund any standard outbound shipping costs originally paid.

7. LATE OR MISSING REFUNDS

If you haven’t received a refund yet:

  1. Check your bank account again.

  2. Contact your credit card company (it may take some time before your refund is officially posted).

  3. Contact your bank (processing times can vary).

8. EXCEPTIONS / NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

Certain types of items cannot be returned, including:

  • Personalized or customized items (e.g., custom monograms or initials), unless defective.

  • Gift cards.

  • Sale items marked as “final sale” (unless defective or required by local law).

9. EXCHANGES

The fastest way to get the item you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

If you received a defective or incorrect item, we will exchange it for the same item (or an equivalent model) at no additional cost to you, subject to stock availability.
