Bergamo is a magnetic link band woven from high-density micro-twill — a dense technical textile, not leather and not pretending to be. Seventeen pairs of magnets run the length of it, so it closes anywhere along the band instead of at fixed holes. That is the point: it fits the wrist you have today, not the nearest notch.

The weave is fine enough to sit flat under a cuff and dense enough to keep its shape. It takes sweat and rain without staining, dries fast, and comes in sixteen colours — which is the other point. This is the strap you own three of.

What this is, and is not

Bergamo is textile, not leather. We say so plainly because the rest of this catalogue is leather and the difference matters: it will not develop a patina, it will not soften and darken with the years, and it will not need balm. What it does instead is shrug off water, weigh almost nothing, and let you change the colour of your watch for the price of a coffee round.

Care

Rinse under cool water, press between a towel and let it air-dry. No machine wash, no tumble dryer, no direct heat. Keep the magnets away from cards with a magnetic stripe.
