Macerata Oil-Wax - Leather Padfolio
Description
A padfolio for the working day. A 13-inch MacBook goes in the back pocket, an A4 notepad on one side, cards, phone and pen on the other, and a zip runs round the whole thing. Close it and carry it by the handle like a slim briefcase.
The leather is oiled cowhide with a waxy, pull-up face. It goes lighter where it folds and scratches, then darkens again with handling, so after a few months no two look alike.
Why you'll love it
- Room for the laptop. The rear pocket takes a 13-inch MacBook Air or MacBook Pro.
- A4 on one side. A sleeve holds an A4 notepad or documents flat.
- Everything else on the other. Eight card slots, a zip pocket, a pen loop, a phone pocket and an AirTag pocket.
- Zip all round. Nothing slips out, whichever way up it travels.
- Top handle. Carry it on its own, or slide it into a bag.
- Front zip pocket. For the things you reach for without opening it.

About real leather
Pull-up leather shows its history. Scratches and folds turn pale, then settle back as the oil and wax move through the hide, and the tone varies from one hide to the next. That is the material, not a defect.
Care
Keep it dry and out of direct sun. Rub light marks with a finger or a dry cloth. A neutral leather balm once or twice a year is enough.
