Genoa ran on paper: bills of exchange, ledgers, the first bank in Europe. This case carries the modern version of that — three cards and a phone, closed under one cover.
The shell is genuine cowhide with a soft interior lining. The front folds over the screen and holds shut magnetically, so the glass is covered in a pocket rather than facing whatever else is in there. Opened and folded back, it stands the phone on a desk.
Grain, shade and small marks vary from piece to piece. That variation is how the hide grew, not a flaw in the finish — it is the part a synthetic surface cannot reproduce.
Wipe with a dry cloth. Keep out of back pockets — sitting on any flip case bends the spine. A neutral balm once or twice a year is enough.
