Vicenza is made from full-grain cowhide tanned by Mastrotto in Arzignano, in the province of Vicenza — one of the oldest tanning districts in Italy. The chrome-free, aniline finish leaves the grain open, so you feel the hide rather than a coating.
Black, close-grained and quiet. It darkens slowly where your hand rests, and the metal buttons keep their click for years.
Every hide carries its own marks. Small scars and shade differences are not defects — they are how you know it lived. The colour deepens with use.
Wipe with a dry cloth. Keep away from prolonged water. A little leather balm once or twice a year keeps it supple.
